T N Armstrong & Co was established in 1974 by Neil Armstrong, and for many years operated from a retail showroom at Bushey Mill Service Station.  By the late 1990s, a main emphasis of the business had become locating vehicles to meet our existing customers’ exact requirements, and this service remains a key activity.  We travel countrywide, utilising our extensive network of sources, to secure the very best examples. 

Having built up such an extensive customer base over the years, we were repeatedly asked why we didn’t offer a car servicing and repair facility.  In 2013, we took the opportunity to relocate to a new premises in Riverside Road, Watford, and this allowed us to start offering mechanical repairs as well as car sales, and many of our customers were only too pleased to start using us for all of their motoring needs. 

Whilst still maintaining an active interest in the business, Neil has taken a step back now and his son Luke manages day to day activities.  Many of our contemporaries in the local used car market have now retired or relocated, but we are proud to still be serving our valued customers in Watford and the surrounding area.  It never ceases to amaze us how many people still recognise the Armstrong name, and sometimes despite having lost touch with us or moved away, will return to buy from us again, safe in the knowledge that quality is at the heart of everything we do.
